Grant is a baby boomer and has been involved in the financial services area since completing undergraduate studies at Auckland University in 1982 where he finished with majors in chemistry, sociology and anthropology - the perfect background for a career in finance. He has worked with several financial institutions large and small before commencing work on his own account in 1989 and forming the business now known as Cleary Wealth Management in 1983.
