Gene earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner in 1987, Certified Investment Management Consultant in 1995 and Certified Investment Manager Analyst completed at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1995. He no longer maintains these designations. Gene completed his Bachelors of Finance, Southern Methodist University in 1981.
