Fred was born in New Orleans and attended the University of Georgia and Louisiana State University. His 40 year career in the industry began in 1976 when he moved to Lafayette and helped establish the E.F. Hutton office where he was the manager. After a merger, Fred joined Legg Mason as the local manager. In 2003 Fred and David Daniel became partners and formed Summit Financial. Fred is married to the former Babette Vidrine and they have five grown children between them: Cortney, Quinn, Blair, Stosh, and Courtney. Fred and Babette enjoy traveling extensively to Europe and to Costa Rica. Fred also continues to pursue his hobby of racing homing pigeons through which he has made many friends
