Fangyi is Senior Portfolio Manager, Public Market Alternatives (PMA), and is responsible for the core liquid portion of the PMA strategy. Fangyi joined IMCO in 2017, and prior to that he was with the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB), covering a wide range of strategies and specialized in alternative assets such as Hedge Funds, Risk Parity and Active Currency strategies. He also established and led the investment risk analysis and reporting capability of the fund. Fangyi holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from University of Toronto. He is also a charter holder of CFA, CAIA and FRM.
