Gene Akerberg joined Charter Capital Management as a Financial Advisor in 2004. Since that time, his role has evolved from serving clients directly, to consulting with other advisors on complex tax situations preparing both long- and short-range tax plans. Originally, from Pennsylvania, Gene attended Penn State University for one year and then served for six years in the U.S. Navy including two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his Naval Service, he completed his education at the University of Colorado, Boulder, graduating with a bachelor's degree in accounting. An Easterner at heart, and missing the ocean, he moved to New Hampshire in 1978.
