Eric founded Hanson & Doremus Investment Management in 1995. He stepped back from his partnership role in 2021 and now focuses on investment strategy, writing, and big picture thinking. Eric has managed money since 1971, first with Howard Bank, then Fraser Management Associates. Eric holds a BA from St. Lawrence University, where he is Trustee Emeritus. He is also a CFA Charterholder and a CFP® Certificant. Eric currently splits his time between Burlington and Greensboro, Vermont with his wife Yang Xin and is active in the community.
