Edward Buxton is a principal of Newman Dignan & Sheerar, Inc. and has over 50 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining ND&S, Ed was a senior vice president and investment counselor with Fleet Investment Advisors in Providence. At Fleet, Ed managed trusts and investment accounts with a market value of over $1 billion. Ed began his career in 1969, working as a portfolio manager for Rhode Island Hospital Trust. He was manager of the investment group at Hospital Trust and became RI Regional Director of Investments for Bank Boston, overseeing the management of $5.6 billion in assets.
