Mr. Barco has twenty-five years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining BigSur Partners in 2011, he was a Managing Director in Private Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank from 2000 to 2011. From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Barco worked in the Investment Banking group with IBS-Morgan Stanley in the Andean Region. From 1992 to 1997 he was a Managing Director at Morgan Grenfell-London focusing on M&A and privatization work in Latin America. Mr. Barco is a Founding Partner in Generamos, Valle Energy, Carbocoque and Lab Miami Ventures. He earned a Business Administration degree from Babson College (1983) as well as a Masters in Latin-American Politics (1988) and a Masters in D
