Doug was born in Corydon, Iowa. He was raised in West Des Moines, graduating from Valley High School. He attended the University of Iowa on a baseball scholarship and earned a BBA in Finance in 1978. After graduation, Doug worked for a local automobile dealership before starting his investment career in 1981 with Dain Bosworth. He then joined previous co-workers at D.M. Kelly & Company in 2001. He currently holds Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses and is a Financial Advisor of D.M. Kelly & Company and DMKC Advisory Services, LLC.
