Doug is the founder of Pathfinder Asset Management Ltd. He has been Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Canfund Ventures Corporation, a private investment company and Pathfinder’s predecessor family office, since 1982. Doug has been investing in public and private companies for over 35 years. Doug has been educated in the school of hard knocks. He worked for the family construction company from 1971 through 1975 where he learned value of “a good day’s work”. When asked about his education, he often refers to his “PhD” in Plumbing, Heating, and Drainage.
