Don serves as Managing Director and has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to forming Novare Capital, Don’s extensive capital markets experience was garnered from 14 years with First Union Capital Markets. During that time, he served institutional and individual portfolio managers and advised them on a variety of portfolio strategies. Don earned his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of the South, Sewanee and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in March 2004.
