I had the markings of a financial planner from an early age. I made my first budget immediately after receiving my initial allowance and thoroughly enjoyed plotting my spending plan each week. As I learned the complexities of personal finance, I paired practical experience in my father’s CPA office with the planning, critical thinking, and organizational skills I gained from my mother. During university, my emphasis was environmental studies and business, and I was fortunate to study abroad in Argentina and the Peruvian Amazon. After college, I continued to explore new places and cultures while making plans for my future back home. I spent my post-collegiate weekdays teaching English to c
