Dave Sherwood moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 1972 after graduating from Black Hills State College in South Dakota. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, he began his professional career in the financial services industry as a management trainee at Pima Savings and Loan. Over nine years, Dave quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the youngest Vice President in the bank’s history. In 1979, he was honored as Employee of the Year for Pima’s 1,500-person holding company, a testament to his leadership and dedication.
