After just two years, when the company was acquired by Morgan Stanley, he was approached by a senior broker to help launch White Pine Investment Company, an independent firm in Livonia, Mich. David spent the next 13 years at White Pine serving as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Compliance Officer.
