David is an investment director and has managed investments for private individuals, trusts, pension funds and charities for over 30 years. Elected to the London Stock Exchange in 1989, David is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments at full diploma level achieved with distinction and a graduate of Edinburgh University. David joined Rathbones in August 2000 after three years with Merrill Lynch setting up this group's Scottish business. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he spent 11 years with the Scottish stockbrokers, Bell Lawrie, rising to director level on the private client side.
