David Goodson has more than 35 years of experience working with wealthy families and foundations on a broad range of investment issues, including security selection, portfolio design, and implementation of investment management best practices. As the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, he plays a key role in determining asset allocation and investment strategies for the firm. Prior to forming Proffitt & Goodson, Inc. in 1986, David was a financial consultant with Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc., providing financial consulting and investment advice to high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations.
