David joined the Hicks Capital Team in the summer of 2014 after a distinguished aviation career that began upon his graduation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Immediately after graduation, David became a full time instructor at Embry Riddle and then joined United Airlines as a pilot in 2001. Working 30,000 feet above the ground where it is blue skies and sunshine everyday was a dream come true for David, but one that pulled him away from his family more than he was willing to accept.
