Dave began his investing career in 1983 with E.F. Hutton where he was the first to earn the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) which was reserved for those who completed the financial planning course. He continued on to earn his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from The College for Financial Planning in 1987. He later joined the Market Technicians Association and has passed two of the three courses necessary to earn the Chartered Market Technician (CMT). Most recently, he earned the Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC) designation in 2019 from The College for Financial Planning.
