Daniel is head of Cliffwater’s hedge fund research team. In this role, he leads a team dedicated to conducting top-down research on hedge fund strategies and issues affecting the hedge fund industry. He also conducts bottom-up research on individual funds in the multi-strategy sector and works with senior client service professionals in constructing and managing client hedge fund portfolios. Prior to joining Cliffwater in 2005, Daniel was a Director at BlackRock Financial Management where he was a senior member of the Fund of Funds team that managed the firm's fund of hedge funds products.
