Daniel M. Kelly was born in Miles City, Montana, and graduated from Assumption Abbey High School in Richardton, North Dakota. He attended the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated in 1968. His first job was with First Bank Systems of Saint Paul as a personal banker. Dan joined Dain, Kalman & Quail in 1971 (now RBC Dain Rauscher), was promoted to branch manager in 1977 and managed the Central Iowa office for 20 years. D.M.
