Daniel Girard has been providing comprehensive wealth management services to successful families, individuals and charitable foundations since the late 1990s. Prior to joining Newport, Dan built and managed a large, successful practice with one of Canada’s big five banks for over 20 years. A Brantford native, Dan graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Economics degree. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, the coveted Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®)—a designation he received from the Investment Management Consulting Association, in affiliation with The Wharton Business School
