Dan Murphy is a Portfolio Manager and Principal at the Madison office of Kovitz. He heads the investment team with responsibility for the team's investment policies, asset allocation and security selection decisions. As a Portfolio Manager he is involved with all aspects of the active management of clients’ equity, fixed income and balanced investment portfolios. Prior to joining Northern Capital Management, Dan was a partner and senior investment analyst with Brinson Partners, Inc. in Chicago, IL (UBS Brinson) prior to which he was an investment officer and equity analyst with Ameritrust Bank (KeyCorp) in Cleveland, OH. Dan is a graduate of the Applied Security Analysis and Investment Manag
