Caron Bastianpillai joined Notz Stucki in 2008 and oversees the Long/Short Equity strategies. After beginning his career in 1990 as an equity product manager at Thomson Financial Services, he joined Banco Santander Group in 1994, where he was responsible for research, due diligence and portfolio management in connection with hedge fund strategies. In 2001, Caron joined Optimal Investment Services (a wholly owned subsidiary of Banco Santander Group), where he became a Managing Director in 2005, leading a research team in global equity hedge strategies.
