Carl is a Managing Partner of Excelsior’s General Partner and Advisor(*), focused on investment due diligence, with twenty-five years of industry experience. He has an extensive background in portfolio management and client advisory services, recently serving as Senior Managing Director with FCE Group and previously Chief Investment Officer of Piermont Group. Carl co-launched the Equities Relative Value Team at Goldman Sachs, where he advised and traded for hedge fund clients from 2001 to 2009.
