Burton (Burt) Bulger is a Vice President on the Real Estate Investments Team at EquiTrust Life Insurance Company where he is involved in all aspects of the firm’s real estate investments including origination, due diligence, underwriting, and portfolio and asset management. Prior to joining EquiTrust, Burt was a Senior Underwriter with SunTrust where he provided third-party loan underwriting, across all asset types, for bridge and term real estate loans targeted for conduit, life company, and Agency executions. Burt was also previously a member of Capital One’s Agency Finance Group where he underwrote Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac-compliant loans secured by multifamily, manufactured hou
