Mr. Hughes is an investment advisor and a member of the investment advisory group. He performs investment analysis (primarily focused on publicly traded equities) with emphasis on preservation of capital and achieving reasonable returns. Mr. Hughes uses a bottom-up approach in analyzing individual companies with awareness of broad macroeconomic trends and developments. Prior to joining Lafayette in 2015, Mr. Hughes worked for three years as an analyst for Primatics Financial, advising clients (primarily large banks) with regard to their loan portfolios. He graduated from James Madison University in 2012 with a BBA in Finance and Accounting. Mr. Hughes is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
