Brenda Barnes joined the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System (DPFP) as Chief Financial Officer in July 2018 and has responsibility for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting and budgeting activities. She has over 20 years of experience in the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller roles for public and private companies in varied industries including retail, wholesale, manufacturing and dealerships. Ms. Barnes received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Christian University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Texas.
