Bob is a Managing Partner of the firm. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in New York City in 1969, working first in the firm’s Research Division, and later moving to the Asset Management area as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager. He then moved to Manufacturers Hanover Investment Corp. to manage fixed income portfolios, rising to the position of Senior Vice President and Manager of Fixed Income. After his time in NYC, Bob headed for Texas to become the Executive Vice President and CIO for fixed income funds in Houston for Van Kampen American Capital. He later moved to Chicago as a Managing Director for Scudder Kemper Investments, in charge of the management of fixed income mutual f
