Prior to joining Palisade Capital Management in 2009, Bernie solely managed Federated Investor’s Capital Appreciation Fund, a $1.5 billion multi-cap stock fund, which achieved a 5-star Morningstar rating during his tenure with the fund. Prior to Federated, Bernie was Director of U.S. Equity Research from 1995 to 1999 at Lehman Brothers. Prior to this, he was an Energy Analyst at firms such as Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers, where his research was recognized 15 consecutive years by Institutional Investor magazine. Bernie is a CFA® Charterholder and received his B.S. in Foreign Service (Economics, Government and History) from G
