Bart has been active in the financial world since the late 1980s. Started as a money broker at Voogelaar & Smulders and from 1991 moved to the Amsterdam Options Exchange as a Market Maker for various parties such as HSBC, AOT and ING Bank. Between 2004 and 2022 Bart engaged in education and information of execution-only clients for Alex Beleggersbank, Binckbank and later SaxoBank. Bart is DSI registered as Sr Investment Advisor and since late 2022 has been affiliated with Noesis B.V. as a free-lancer.
