Barry C. Smith was a partner with Woodridge Capital Portfolio Management prior to their merger with Element Wealth. A native of Greenville, Mississippi, Barry has a degree in economics from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Millsaps College. He started his investment career in 1978 with the Jackson office of Morgan-Keegan & Co., serving clients as an investment consultant. In 1983, Barry accepted a position with Trustmark National Bank in Jackson, Mississippi where he worked for more than 14 years as manager of the Investment Services Department. In 1985 and 1986, Barry was selected to attend the American Bankers Associations School of Funds Management in Boulder, Colorado
