Andriy Shapowal joined Investure in January 2011. Before becoming Co-Chief Investment Officer in summer 2021, he served as the Head of Manager Selection. Prior to joining Investure, Andriy was a Managing Director at the University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) where he was responsible for UVIMCO's equity and hedge fund portfolios. Before working at UVIMCO, he was a member of the investment team at JPMorgan Partners and its predecessor firm, Chase Capital Partners, where he participated in a wide variety of direct public and private equity investments.
