Mr. Schmeelk joined Morgan Creek Capital Management in 2012 and is based in New York City. Mr. Schmeelk plays a leading role in managing the Morgan Creek Consumer Opportunities strategy while actively sourcing and managing co-investment opportunities as part of the firm’s Deals team. Earlier in his career at Morgan Creek, Mr. Schmeelk was primarily focused on global equities across Morgan Creek's various investment solutions and portfolios, including the Morgan Creek Opportunity Fund which was renamed the Asana Global Select Fund in 2018.
