Allen J. Laufer, CPA, is a Managing Director and director of financial planning. Prior to Silvercrest, Mr. Laufer was a Vice President at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), where he served in a similar capacity. He arrived at CSAM as a result of that firm’s merger with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where he had worked since 1997. Previously, he was a Senior Manager both at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. Mr. Laufer holds a B.S. in Accounting from New York University and an M.S. in Taxation from Baruch College, City University of New York.
