Alex joined Hanson & Doremus Investment Management in 2018 and is responsible for investment research, portfolio management, and client interaction. Prior to joining Hanson & Doremus, Alex spent six years in the client services group at NISA Investment Advisors in St. Louis, Missouri. Before that, he worked in client services for two years at Dwight Asset Management Company in Burlington, Vermont. Alex holds a BSBA in Finance from The University of Vermont and an MBA from Saint Louis University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a CFP Certificant. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Champlain program. Alex’s interests include being outdoors, exercising, watching movies, and spendi
