Alex joined Gerber Taylor in 2010 and leads the firm’s Public Markets team. Alex focuses on portfolio construction, risk management, and fund manager selection. Prior to joining Gerber Taylor, he was Managing Partner of Blackfish Capital LLC where he served as portfolio manager of a hedge fund of funds for five years. In addition, Alex has extensive experience with family investment offices having served as the Chief Investment Officer of The Riverstone Group, an institutional size family investment office.
