Alan M. Dachs is Chair of the Board, and retired Chief Executive Officer, of the Fremont Group, a San Francisco-based private investment firm. Mr. Dachs served on the Board of Directors of Bechtel Group, Inc. from 1997 through 2021. He is a retired member of the Board of Directors of the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors of X2X, LLC. He is a Senior Trustee of the Brookings Institution, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences where he retired as Chair of the Academy’s Trust and Vice Chair of its Board of Directors in 2021.
