Prior to joining Tingey Advisors, Inc. as a Principal of the firm, Alan was Vice President of Smoot, Miller, Cheney and Co., an investment advisory firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beginning his investment career as a Private Investment manager for the owners of Hallmark Cards, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, he later served as Chief Investment Officer of Tracy Collins Trust Company in Salt Lake City.
